Naturally beautiful – thanks to hemp cosmetic products
High-quality care products with natural raw materials to meet the highest demands – this sums up the forward-looking cosmetics line from The Hemp Line. The product range offers a selection of highly effective creams, body lotions, foam baths, shower gels and massage oils.
The only basic ingredient is cold-pressed hemp oil. Hemp oil is ideal for skin care, as its valuable substances serve as a natural raw material for a wide range of cosmetic products that provide excellent care. Selected medicinal herbal extracts and essential oils complement the formulas and round off the products effectively.
The benefits of hemp oil in cosmetics are based on the physical and biochemical effects of its fatty acids. The ancient Romans and great queens like Cleopatra were already using ointments, lotions and baths with hemp oil. The high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids (80 percent) helps the skin retain moisture. Thanks to the combination of the essential fatty acids linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid with the rare gamma-linolenic acid, the products can also be used for skin diseases such as neurodermatitis or psoriasis.
With their slightly acidic pH value sitting between 4 and 6.5, the cosmetic products from The Hemp Line support the skin’s natural acid mantle and prevent it from drying out.
No animal testing is conducted for the development, production and inspection of all cosmetic products from The Hemp Line. The majority of the products are certified according to the guidelines of ICADA (International Cosmetic and Detergents Association e. V.).
These include the following criteria:
- As far as possible, plants from controlled organic farming or certified wild harvesting are used.
- The interests of animal and species protection are respected.
- Organic-synthetic colour and synthetic fragrances, ethoxylated raw materials, silicones, paraffins and other petroleum-based raw materials are not permitted for various reasons.
The Hemp Line Cosmetics – good for humans, animals and the environment.
